If it takes a village to raise a child, then we have one for you! Clement Moms offers social, spiritual and educational support as you begin and continue the momentous journey of motherhood. In addition to a plethora of fun and creative events, including moms’ nights out, playgroups, kids’ holiday parties, wine and chat gatherings, brunches, etc., the group also organizes volunteer opportunities and spiritual retreats for parish mothers.

Clement Moms is comprised of more than 250 moms—both working and stay-at-home—whose children are not yet of school age, although many have an older child in school with younger siblings. Joining the group is a great way to meet new friends and to feel more connected to the Saint Clement community. Not only will you meet other women sharing your same joys and frustrations; you’ll also have opportunities to meet other couples through events and activities organized in conjunction with Clement Dads.

As a member of the group, you'll be invited to join the Clement Moms’ Facebook Group, a tool that connects Clement Moms online in a secure environment.

Event: Clement Moms Virtual Speaker, Allison Auth

Thursday, December 10, 8-9:15pm CT

All moms of young children are invited to join us for a virtual speaker event to hear from Allison Auth, writer, blogger, and Catholic mom of five. She is the author of "Baby and Beyond: Overcoming Those Post-Childbirth Woes." Allison will join us via Zoom for an honest discussion about the difficult and often overlooked struggles of motherhood, and blending the spiritual and physical recovery of childbirth together.  Everyone who RSVPs will receive a copy of Allison's book.

Allison lives in Denver with her husband and four children. After graduating from Franciscan University of Steubenville, she worked in youth ministry and marriage preparation until dedicating herself to the homeschooling of her children. Having gone through four postpartum experiences, she is passionate about sharing her knowledge and bringing hope to those who may be struggling in their vocation to motherhood. You can check out her blog at https://allisonauth.com/ .

Supporting New Moms: Seeking Volunteers and Expecting Moms

Clement Moms Meal Committee is looking for volunteers, as well as to know of expecting mothers. In the past, we have provided homemade meals to families who have recently welcomed a new baby.  In light of Covid, we are reinventing this ministry as an opportunity to connect with care packages for Mom as well as meals to be provided via delivery service such as GRUBHUB/Doordash (or equivalent) giftcard or E-card (Amazon). Most importantly, we would like to welcome and provide the new mom with a personal connection. If you are available and interested, or know of a parish mom expecting, please send an email to Barbara Sifter. Please consider, now more than ever, the need for connection and emotional support.
