On Saturday, February 8th, over 75 lay leaders and parish staff gathered in Centennial Hall to discuss the role of lay leadership at Saint Clement. Guided by John Fontana, participants had an opportunity to share their personal stories of faith and explore how they feel called to leadership. Building from this foundation, participants worked to identify the greatest needs and challenges facing Saint Clement, then explored how their God-given talents and gifts can be utilized to meet those needs and serve our parish community.
On Tuesday, May 7, many of our Liturgical Ministers gathered in Fireside for an Appreciation Dinner. We have close to 500 volunteers that help at various times of the year to make our liturgies more impactful and prayerful – baking bread, preparing for each Mass, proclaiming the Word, greeting parishioners, singing in joyful praise, and joining in communion with each other - and we like to take one evening each year to say THANK YOU. Our volunteers enjoyed a delicious bbq dinner and Fr.
Throughout Advent, Saint Clement parishioners generously supported 11 local charities with their wish lists for the season. Nearly all of the 1,450 tags were taken from the trees! Overall, as a parish, we were able to donate more than $14,647 in gift cards and donations, as well as more than 1,965 items of clothing, toys and more.

Many thanks to all who donated to this year’s Lenten Almsgiving in support of our three year partnership with Parroquia San José (St. Joseph Parish) in Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Saint Clement was able to send $22,719.56 to assist the parish as they rebuild their lives following the devastation of Hurricane Maria in September 2017.
