August School Supply Drive
In support of Our Lady of Mercy’s Religious Education Program
Saturday, August 15 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Our Lady of Mercy, Saint Clement’s sharing parish located in the Albany Park neighborhood, has a very large and active Religious Education Program instructing and forming close to 600 children. Saint Clement parishioners have a tradition of generously supporting the program by providing school supplies to families who are experiencing financial hardship. The staff and families of OLM have always expressed heartfelt appreciation for our support.
Please consider these needs as you prepare for Back to School!
  • new backpacks
  • Crayons
  • Pencils (#2)
  • Notebooks (70 page spiral or composition)
  • binders
  • folders
  • loose leaf paper
  • markers
  • erasers
  • pens
  • colored pencils
How it will work:
On August 15, volunteers will be at the covered Saint Clement School parking lot on Orchard St. To ensure social distancing, place all donations in bags or boxes in your vehicle’s trunk. Upon arrival, please enter the covered lot from Orchard, pull forward, stop as directed, and pop your trunk. Remain in your vehicle while a volunteer removes the donations from your trunk, and then exit the garage through the alley garage door. Boxes will also be available on the curb for those who would like to drop off a donation on foot. Thank you for your support!
