We are excited to introduce Faith Hub Chicago to Saint Clement!
The Faith Hub serves as an innovative pastoral lab for renewal across the Archdiocese of Chicago as part of Renew My Church. Renew My Church aims to make disciples, build communities and inspire witness. This renewal takes dedicated focus, time and energy and requires new skills and new methods of delivering programs and consistent pastoral planning. In order to help parishes achieve this renewal, the Building the New Reality Team of Renew My Church, which Fr. Peter directs, saw the need to establish a lab of pastoral experimentation to test priority initiatives and showcase best practices of renewal. Faith Hub Chicago is this lab. The Faith Hub is currently piloting Renew My Church initiatives that focus on implementing entry points for those who are not engaged in faith, radical hospitality that reaches out in care to others, and vibrant and transformative liturgies. The Faith Hub team continually communicates with parishes around the archdiocese inviting pastors, staff and parish leaders into courses and liturgies so that they may return to their own communities with key learnings for renewal.
The Faith Hub is a movement, not a parish. Most Faith Hub events (when we can meet in person again), will be hosted at Saint Clement or Saint Bonaventure on Ashland and Diversey.
Since mid-March when our city began sheltering in place and traditional in-person Mass was not an option, the Faith Hub team has been live-streaming weekly Sunday Masses and monthly Praise & Worship services. We are excited to announce that we will begin offering in-person Faith Hub Mass on Sundays at 4:30 at Saint Clement beginning September 20th. Everyone is welcome and registration and safety protocol will follow the same format as the other Masses celebrated at Saint Clement. Details here.
Weekly prayer meeeting
You're also invited to join us for a virtual opportunity for prayer, community, and accompaniment every Wednesday at 7:30 a.m. Join us in praying for our world, for healing, and peace in all our lives. This time has been difficult but it has allowed us to encounter the Lord in new and powerful ways. We will be gathering via Zoom and will send the dial-in number and password ahead of the prayer meeting to those that are on the mailing list. Sign up here.
