Church & Parish Office Closed until Saturday, 12/19/2020
Dear Members of Saint Clement,
I write to alert you to some very important information. One of our staff members has tested positive for the Coronavirus. As a result, other members of our staff, including the priests, have been tested and as of this writing, all are negative. Out of an abundance of caution and taking into consideration the difficulty of recruiting volunteers for this weekend, we are suspending all in person Masses as well as the distribution of Holy Communion this weekend. This difficult decision was made in collaboration with the archdiocesan Covid task force.
We will livestream our 5:00 pm Mass on Saturday as well as the 9:30 am Children’s Mass on Sunday. We will resume our in-person Masses next weekend, December 20th, and invite you to wear your ugly Christmas sweater to Mass on that weekend. We need all the joy we can find!
Our registration for in-person Christmas Masses will open on Friday, December 18th at 10:00 am.
The suspension of Masses does not impact Saint Clement School, which will remain open through tomorrow, December 11th, as scheduled.
Our parish office will also be closed December 11th through December 18th. There will be no public presence on the Church campus during this time.
Although we love nothing more than worshiping with you in person at Mass, our primary goal is to keep you safe. If more information becomes available, we will promptly communicate it to you. We thank you for your understanding and ask for your prayers for all those affected by this virus.
Advent blessing to you all,
Fr. Peter Wojcik, Pastor
