THANK YOU for your generosity to our 2021 H.U.G.S. Drive!

Thank you for your generosity to this year’s H.U.G.S. drive!

The past few weeks, the parish held its annual H.U.G.S. for the Homeless collection. Each year, Hats, Underwear, Gloves & Socks, are requested for our homeless brothers and sisters. Many come to the parish looking for gloves and hats, and local shelters never seem to have enough socks and underwear. This year’s donations will go to the Franciscan Outreach, Lincoln Park Community Services, and the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels.

Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, we collected over 450 items! We were able to donate 229 pairs of socks, 59 pairs of gloves, 58 hats, and 66 pairs of underwear along with other cold-weather gear. Thank you for remembering those who suffer from the cold!

Please note this is an ongoing need throughout the winter, and we and area shelters are always in need. Don’t hesitate to pick up extras when at Costco or Walgreens, and drop at the reception desk. We are incredibly grateful for your support as we gear up for the cold winter.
