Transitioning to More Efficient & User-Friendly Giving Platform: Pushpay

July 7, 2021

Dear Members of Saint Clement,

As summer months are upon us, I pray that this time is a special moment of blessing to you and your family. Seeing so many people back celebrating their faith and our wonderful community gives me hope and upholds me in my vocation as your pastor.

As you perhaps have heard last weekend at Mass, in order to be better stewards as well as to improve our parish infrastructure, we have partnered with a leading church financial management system called Pushpay. Going forward, all new and existing gifts for the parish and school will be processed through their giving platform. However, this means that I need to ask you to reschedule all of your recurring gifts. Friday morning, you will receive an email from with instructions on how to begin giving with this new tool. That email will also include instructions on how to end your existing recurring gift through WeShare. If you have not yet set up a recurring gift, we encourage you to prayerfully consider doing so in this transition.

The Archdiocese of Chicago began using Pushpay this year, and our friends at Old St. Pat's have also transferred, with great results, to this more efficient and market-leading platform. Our staff has already made the transition to Pushpay and are very excited because we found it to be quite simple -- only requiring a couple of minutes to complete.

Please be on the lookout for that email on Friday. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out to Gabriel Mayhugh, and he will be happy to assist you. Thank you again for generously giving to Saint Clement! This difficult year of Covid19 would not be possible to survey without your commitment and amazing generosity to this community and through us to many others. I look forward to seeing you at Mass this weekend. Be sure to join us in welcoming our new associate Fr. Paul as well as re-welcoming Fr. Matt after 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, and thanking Gabriel for his 18 years of service to our liturgies after the 11:15 a.m. Mass on Sunday.

With much gratitude,

Fr. Peter Wojcik, Pastor
