Delaney Buenzli is a Lincoln Square resident and has been a parishioner at Saint Clement since January 2018. She has served on the Young Adult Board as the co-chair of Learning (2018-2019), the co-chair of Belong (2019-2021), and as the co-chair for Theology on Tap (2018, 2019, 2020*, 2021) and will serve as the liaison to the young adult community while a member of the Parish Council. She is passionate about St. Martha, all things coffee, and running -- you can often find her socializing on the plaza after the 7 p.m. Mass on Sundays.
Brian Christ has been an active member of Saint Clement for more than 20 years. He frequently serves as Sacristan for the 11:15 Mass. Recently, he has been involved in the selection of new software to update the Saint Clement technology platform and website, and he's looking forward to 100% participation in Saint Clement's transition to Pushpay. In his professional life, he owns a small software company in Chicago focused on Proptech and the commercial real estate industry.
Pat Manus is excited and anxious to serve on Fr. Peter's Pastoral Council for the next few years. Saint Clement has been very important to her and her family for almost 30 years. Pat's two children attended Saint Clement School and over the years Pat was active as a room parent, co-chaired several Anchor Balls, a prior member of Pastoral Council with Fr. Simpson and currently serves as a hospitality minister at Mass. She also participates in Clement Way, Love Your Neighbor and The Lydia Circle. Pat hopes her skills at attentive listening and providing sound advice will serve Fr. Peter and the community during her tenure.
The son of two college professors, Alex Mestre was born and raised in Amherst, Massachusetts, before moving to Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, at the age of 10. Alex graduated from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business with a double major in Accounting and International Business. Alex began his career in management consulting at Bain & Company, where he advised clients in the private equity, aerospace and defense, and retail space. In 2019, Alex joined the Archdiocese of Chicago, where he currently works as a Strategy & Analytics Manager. A Saint Clement parishioner of 4 years, Alex looks forward to getting married there and coaching the Saint Clement School baseball team next year.
Barbara Sifter has been a parishioner at Saint Clement for over 10 years. Married to Christopher Sifter in 2011 at Saint Clement, they are blessed with two children Michael (8 yrs) and Ola (5 yrs) who also attend Saint Clement School. Barbara earned her Master's in Organization Change from Northwestern in 2009 and B.S. in Finance from DePaul, and currently leads an actuarial / underwriting team at a global insurance provider. Barbara enjoys volunteering, engaging communities, adventurous weekends, and an active life to serve others. She is humbled and honored to join the Saint Clement Pastoral Council.
Born and raised in the Detroit area, Jim first joined Saint Clement Parish in 2004 when he was transferred here by his employer, J.P. Morgan Chase Bank. After a five year overseas work assignment in Singapore, he re-joined the parish in 2016. Jim currently lives in the Gold Coast and is an active Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister. He is excited to be a part of the Finance Council and is looking forward to expanding his relationship with Saint Clement and its people.
Bridget Stallkamp is excited to further her involvement with Saint Clement by joining the Finance Council. She became a parishioner in 2006 when she and her husband, Tim, were married in the church. They have two daughters who both attend Saint Clement School. Bridget is involved in the Clement Way initiative and Welcome Families at the school – both focusing on ensuring all feel welcome and included in our community. Professionally, Bridget is Vice President of Innovation Hubs and Insights at Root, a part of Accenture, and holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business at University of Michigan and a BA from Tulane University.
Jim Hoeg has worked in the financial services industry for the past 22 years and is currently a Partner with the Alyeska Investment Group. Jim is active in the Chicago community and serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Big Shoulders Fund, an organization dedicated to supporting Catholic Schools in the inner city of Chicago. Jim and his wife, Danielle, have been members of the parish since 2017 and have two daughters who attend Saint Clement School.
Scott Pasquini is a Managing Director & Co-Head of the Telecom, Media & Technology Services investment team at Madison Dearborn Partners. Scott received his MBA from Harvard Business School, and a bachelor of science in engineering with honors from Princeton University. Scott and his wife, Rachel, have two daughters enrolled at Saint Clement School, and a son who is working on his application for kindergarten.
Paula, a California native, married the boy next door which prompted her move to Chicago in 2008. Instantly, Paula and Larry felt at home at Saint Clement, and have been parishioners for the past 13 years. With her husband Larry, they have been involved with the Pre Cana ministry, and various volunteering events with Saint Clement School where they have two daughters, Rosie (5th grade) and Caroline (3rd grade). Paula works best juggling many hats, so in addition to running the family foundation Coming Up Rosies, she’s the Head of People at TechNexus Venture Collaborative, a Chicago based joint venture technology firm. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being a Legislative Liaison for the National Alopecia Foundation, cooking Italian dishes with her girls, bootcamp, impromptu dance parties, and doing jigsaw puzzles during the cold Chicago winters.
Joannie Weber is the mother of three Saint Clement students, Abbey (4th), Bradley (3rd), and Caroline (Kindergarten). Her husband, John, and she moved to Chicago seven years ago and have been Saint Clement parishioners ever since. Joannie was born and raised in Duluth, MN, graduated from Villanova University, and worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and Chicago for 11 years before deciding to stay home and raise their children. She has been very involved in the Saint Clement community through Clement Moms, Eucharistic Ministry, various SCPA activities, and co-chairing Anchor Ball for two years. Joannie is thrilled to be a part of the school advisory board during this transitional period and is proud to help represent such an amazing community.
