Dear Fr. Peter, Fr. Matt, Staff, and Parishioners of St. Clement, PC!
 
On Saturday, June 5th, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus, I was able to spend my Jack Benny ordination anniversary by celebrating Mass at St. Clement.  As I told the congregation that evening, I am heading to Saint Louis University to be a professor in the School of Education, where I will be working with the Catholic School Administration Program and Doctoral students.  I am looking forward to this new chapter of my life.

I love the parable we hear in the Gospel this Sunday – the reminder that all is not always what it seems and that we should not disregard what looks small and vulnerable upon first glance. However, the parable of the mustard seed is not only about something small and seemingly insignificant having the capacity to transform into something sprawling and vital to the environment. It is also about our own capacity and responsibility for growing with purpose.

Celebrating our faith together -- preparing for a full re-opening this weekend!

Dear Saint Clement Parish Family,
 
We are excited that after 14 months of reservations, social distancing and limited capacity, this weekend we can prepare to welcome you, our members, to Saint Clement the way we always did before the pandemic.
 
As our state and city anticipate entering Phase 5 this Friday, June 11, we will continue to follow the governmental regulations around COVID-19.

This month I mark my 1st year as your pastor! What a year! I started with an empty church, a camera and only a few people who could join me for one Sunday Mass as we celebrated in June. Since then, because of your incredible engagement, we were blessed to facilitate spiritual growth, encourage faith engagement and share the love of Jesus with others within and outside of our parish.
