Lectors proclaim the Living Word of God. In many ways the lector sets the tone for the liturgy by preparing the stories from our long history. Our Lectors start our Mass with a welcome to the congregation, proclaim the First and Second readings, say our Prayer of the Faithful/Intentions, and share the weekly announcements. If you are comfortable speaking or reading in front of others and are interested in proclaiming God's Word at Mass, we invite you to serve our community as a Lector.
