Alpha is a series of conversations that explore life, spirituality and faith in a fun, non-judgmental environment. It’s perfect for skeptics, the curious, anyone with doubts or those who want to talk about life’s real issues with new friends.
Alpha runs 11 weeks, and each week is centered around a short talk and a discussion at the end where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. No question is too basic or too big.
People attend from all backgrounds, religions and viewpoints. Guests come to discuss questions about the existence of God, the purpose of life and the claims of Jesus. Some people are curious to understand what the Christian faith teaches. Others come to learn more about the God who really changes lives. No judgment. No preaching. No pressure.
Many guests have never been to church, others may have attended church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian Catholic faith or simply aren't able to articulate why they believe what they believe. Everyone is welcome to #TryAlpha!

Far-reaching inspiration of Alpha!
Dear Fr. Peter,
I wanted to share a highlight video put together by the Faith Hub in Cebu.
Much of this is due to your graciousness in sharing your experience and the generosity of letting us into the doors to see how we could dream as such. You kindled a flame so bright that we had to go back and aspire towards this.
One year later, I am happy to say that the Faith Hub is an independently run community space that is nurturing faith for the people in Cebu, focusing on the young, but without neglecting the others. The video speaks for itself.
I pray it will inspire you and your team. I am already dreaming of another one in 2024.
