COMMUNITY OF SHEPHERDS

Helping to maintain our beautiful buildings

Members of the Community of Shepherds make an additional fiscal year donation of $1,500 or more for the maintenance and upkeep and improvement of our spectacular parish Church and buildings. A unique parish initiative since 2004. Community of Shepherds is a pledge program to raise funds to ensure that our ongoing capital needs are addressed.

We revived this program in August 2021 and we are already projecting over $150,000 this fiscal year. Donations to support Community of Shepherds can be made online via Pushpay. For stock donations, please complete this stock letter of intention.

Update on our Building Repair Expenses and Upcoming Dome Project

We wanted to express our gratitude to the members of our Community of Shepherds. Thanks to their generous donations, we have been able to complete many necessary building projects throughout the parish. We want to provide transparency around where their funds are being spent, so below is a recap of the projects that the members of the Community of Shepherds supported through their annual donations in Fiscal Year 2023.

Since the revival of the Community of Shepherds in August 2021, we have received $238,243 in donations (as of Aug. 2023), whereas our capital spending in just FY23 alone was $660,232 (see image above). We are grateful to the 50+ Community of Shepherds members for their remarkable giving, which is a testament to their dedication to our community and our future. We invite you to prayerfully discern and join this noble cause!

Of course, our expenses do not stop there. We have the huge impending project to repair our 100+ year old Dome which will be a primary focus. Learn more at clement.org/dome.

We invite you to consider your ongoing support or invite others to join the Community of Shepherds. Thank you again for your continued to support to Saint Clement. If you have any questions, please contact Delaney Paul, Director of Stewardship & Development, at dpaul@clement.org
