Young Adult Community
Come find your crew!
In recognition of the Saint Clement church mission and vision, the Young Adult Community (YAC) is an inclusive community of parishioners in our 20's and 30's on a journey of faith in Jesus Christ. We grow in faith through engaging in the liturgy, deepening relationships, serving one another and the greater community, and gratefully sharing with others the gifts we have each been given.
We have various spiritual, service, and social opportunities to be involved with so please subscribe to our weekly e-newsletter and follow us on social media (see below) to learn about some of our upcoming events.
Community Leadership
Our Young Adult Board consists of seven young adult parishioners who each have a unique position on the board. Our 2024/2025 Members are excited to welcome you into this community within the Saint Clement parish family!
If you have any questions about getting involved at Saint Clement we encourage you to contact Marta Stepniak.

YAC x LCF: Workout & Shop for a Cause
Saturday, May 10, 12:15 p.m., Shred 415 (2150 N Clybourn Ave) & Love, Charlie (3352 N Paulina St.) *ONLY 20 SPOTS LEFT*
Join us for a heart-pumping, high-energy Shred415 class on May 10 at 12:15PM (2150 N Clybourn Ave), where every drop of sweat makes a difference. For just $30, you'll get an incredible workout while directly supporting the Legacy. Community. Future. campaign at Saint Clement. Come run, lift, and give back--because strong bodies build strong communities!
Afterwards, you're invited to shop at Love, Charlie (3352 N Paulina St.) where 20% of all YAC sales that day will be donated to Saint Clement.
What is Shred? Total Body Climb is a 50-minute class that combines 25 minutes of incline walking on a treadmill with 25 minutes of strength training exercises on the floor, delivering a low-impact yet powerful full-body workout. Though it is low impact, it will leave you breathless and sweaty. Total Body Climb is perfect for beginners, walkers, and seasoned Shredders looking for a seriously challenging sweat session. *Please note that there will be running cues in this class.

Theology on Tap 2024
We hosted a record-breaking number of 1,422 young adults this past July-August for our yearly Theology on Tap summer speaker series! We’d like to thank Father Mike Schmitz, Dr. Sally Blount, CEO of Catholic Charities, The Very Reverend Father John Kartje, President of the University of Saint Mary of the Lake, Father Pete McCormick of the University of Notre Dame, Father Reginald Wolford of Indiana University, Reverend John Wentz, Executive Director of Alpha USA, and Dr. Lisa Fortini-Campbell, former professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, for graciously giving their time and wisdom in exploring the question: “Who Is Jesus?”
2024 YAC Formal
On May 18, 2024 the Saint Clement YAC held its second annual Formal Dance at the Athenaeum. The theme was Hollywood Nights. Many dressed in formal attire while dancing the night away to our awesome DJ, who spun nostalgic throwback tracks all evening long. There also was a raffle with various prizes. Huge thanks goes out to our YAC Formal Planning Committee for organizing this epically entertaining event! We look forward to next year’s dance already! See below for photos:
Lent 2024 Retreat
Thank you to all who joined us on our Lenten retreat! We dove into topics of how to move past fear, with God, so that you may face your crosses daily and share God's light and love with those around us. A special thank you to Sr. Stephanie and the Mission of Our Lady of the Angels for their warm hospitality!
