God’s Grace at work in the Sacraments of Initiation
(Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)

Members of our Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) will begin receiving the sacraments of initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist on Sunday, October 5, at the 11:15 am Mass. Some are baptized in sister Christian churches and will be received into the full communion of the Catholic Church.
On this day, Father Peter will celebrate 16 Baptisms, receive 6 individuals into full communion with us and a total of 33, which includes Catholics seeking Confirmation and/or First Communion, will be confirmed in the Holy Spirit! We rejoice at how the Holy Spirit continues to build up the Church of Christ, uniting us in the one family of God!

Five OCIA members are out of town that weekend and will receive sacraments on Saturday, November 8, at the 5 pm Mass. This means a total of 39 members have been guided by the Spirit to full participation in the Body of Christ and Christ’s Church this fall. Please keep them in your prayers and show them a warm welcome when you encounter them at our various St. Clement events.

Our Fall 2025 – Spring 2026 OCIA begins on Monday, November 17 and will lead to celebrating the sacraments of initiation at the Easter Vigil on April 4. You can register here
