This Sunday Saint Clement will celebrate the final (3rd) Scrutiny for our elect at the 9:30 am Chapel Mass. Fr. Radley will begin this scrutiny by asking those present to pray: “for these servants whom God has chosen, that, by laying their foundation firmly on Christ, they may have the strength to leave behind all hindrances to living as disciples fully committed to building up the Kingdom of God.”
Our parish purpose is “to grow the kingdom of God.” By welcoming and supporting inquirers seeking baptism, Christians seeking to be joined with us in communion with the Catholic Church, or Catholics desiring full initiation, we are living our purpose.
Our elect and candidates are attracted to Christ by witnessing us living out our mission as “a vibrant Holy Spirit-led Catholic community that invites all into a life-changing relationship with Jesus to bring love, mercy and peace to the world.”
Many of our OCIA members were invited to liturgy and community activities here by friends, co-workers or parishioners. Some just stopped in to see our stunning worship space. Others were impacted by the enthusiasm of our community during Plaza hospitality or were surprised by people snaking down the driveway to Theology or Tap or Wine Down Wednesdays.
Please continue to pray for our elect and candidates and embrace your role in making them feel welcome in our community. Introduce yourself. Get to know them. Build the bonds of friendship in Christ.
Our 2025 Fall cohort of those wishing to be baptized, baptized Christians seeking to join the Catholic Church and baptized Catholics seeking Confirmation and/or Communion will begin on Monday, November 17, 2025. You are strongly encouraged to sign up for Alpha, which begins September 15, and/or take part in our various Beta and spirituality courses to prepare.
