Pentecost 2025

Celebrate Pentecost with Us — A Week of Spirit-Filled Joy!

Events June 5 and June 7/8

Pentecost invites us to open our hearts to the Holy Spirit and be renewed in our mission as disciples of Jesus. In the words of Pope Francis from his 2024 Pentecost homily:

“The Holy Spirit, who descended upon the disciples and remained at their side... instilled in them a serene courage which impelled them to pass on to others their experience of Jesus and the hope which motivated them.”
Pope Francis, quoting Saint John Paul II

Let’s be moved by that same courage!

We’re celebrating the birthday of the Church—and Saint Clement’s 120th anniversary—with a week of joyful, Spirit-filled events. DETAILS BELOW!

Night of the Holy Spirit

Thursday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m.

All are welcome to this night of encounter, healing, and renewal. Join us on Thursday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. for our Night of the Holy Spirit, with Mass, Adoration, testimony, prayer teams, and a reception. Let God stir your heart. Come, Holy Spirit!

Pentecost Sunday Celebrations: June 7–8

Continue the celebration June 7–8 with birthday parties after each Mass—including cake and fun for all ages. It’s Pentecost and Saint Clement’s 120th birthday—come be renewed and recommissioned as a disciple of Jesus!

Please note, on June 8, there also will be an Alpha Reunion following the 4:30 p.m. Mass with pizza, cake, and of course, community! All past Alpha participants are invited - register here by June 5.

Parking for Pentecost Weekend:

  • You may use the Saint Clement parking lot on Deming Place, across from the church. Please note, double-parking may occur, but you will be asked to remove your vehicle to allow for parking for those participating in the next Mass time.

  • You may also use the covered lot under Saint Clement School on Orchard Street.

  • Additionally, we offer parking validation for the garage located across from Lincoln Commons at 2316 N. Lincoln/SP Parking, entrance on the west side of the street. Pull the ticket to park in the garage. After parking, come to the parish office and ask the parish receptionist for a sticker for this garage that can be attached to the front of your parking ticket.

  • As a reminder, the Alcott school parking lot is no longer available to our parish.

And as we celebrate Pentecost, we are recommissioned—challenged to take one bold step in our faith this summer. Whether that means helping a neighbor, sharing your faith, or deepening your prayer life, ask yourself:
What’s one more thing I can do to show I’m a disciple of Jesus?

Come be renewed. Be sent. Be celebrated.
