SUNDAY SHARING
This Is Your Church. Let It Be Your Impact.
Growing in Faith. Giving in Love. Building Our Future.
Each year, Saint Clement parishioners are invited to make a Sunday Sharing Commitment—a prayerful pledge that recognizes the many ways God has blessed our lives. It’s a time to pause, re-evaluate, and re-commit ourselves as disciples of Christ.
As your parish family, we are here to accompany you on that journey. Saint Clement offers a place and a community where you can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and share His light with others. Taking the next step—whether that’s becoming more connected, deepening your prayer life, or making a financial commitment—helps strengthen the bonds that make our parish a home for so many.
Why Your Commitment Matters
Your financial commitment sustains the daily mission of Saint Clement. It supports our worship, ministries, and programs that form disciples, nurture families, and serve those in need. It keeps the lights on for prayer, maintains spaces of encounter with Christ, and allows our community to continue to flourish.
Through our Clement Commits program, program, 10% of every Sunday collection is donated directly to organizations that serve the poor and vulnerable—both here in Chicago and across the world. When you give to Saint Clement, your generosity has a double impact: it forms disciples within our parish and extends Christ’s mercy beyond our walls.
As our community continues to grow in both numbers and spiritual depth, we invite all parishioners to prayerfully consider either beginning your gift or increasing their gift as a tangible expression of faith and gratitude. Your continued generosity makes it possible for us to meet rising costs while keeping our mission strong and welcoming for all. Thank you!
STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is more than a financial commitment—it’s a way of life rooted in gratitude and trust. If you are ready to take a next step in service, we invite you to consider sharing your time and talents as well as your treasure.
Serve at Mass once a month, volunteer with our Alpha course, or join our Love Your Neighbor team. Each act of service—no matter how small—builds up the Body of Christ and brings our mission to life.
The Holy Spirit continues to guide and enliven our parish, deepening our relationship with Christ and one another. Saint Clement is a flourishing community because of the generosity, prayer, and dedication of parishioners like you.
As you reflect on your Sunday Sharing commitment, we invite you to listen for how God might be calling you to give of yourself in the year ahead. It may mean spending more time in prayer, participating more fully in the Eucharist, serving others, or giving more of your financial resources to sustain the parish you love.
Together, through our Sunday Sharing Commitment, we will continue to build our future, sustain our legacy, and grow as disciples of Jesus Christ. Thank you!
Why I Share
Reflections from members of our parish family.
Written reflection from Jim Fitzgerald, member of Finance Council
“[A]s my connection to Saint Clement grew, I felt called to increase my donations and actually commit to making them by signing up for Sunday Sharing. Today, I can honestly say that the financial support I make to Saint Clement has helped me grow in my faith. My donations have given me a feeling of ownership and commitment to the mission of Saint Clement and have made me want to participate in it more fully. I also like the fact that 10% of my giving goes to help deserving charitable organizations after a careful vetting process performed by my fellow parishioners.”

Written reflection from Adam White, member of music ministry and young adult community
“If God is willing to meet me in my weakness, then the least I can do is show up with what I have. For me, that’s been playing music in the Orchard Street Worship band. Some weeks I come with joy, other weeks with doubts or distractions, but every week God takes that small offering and makes it into something more. And that’s also what I’ve found at Saint Clement: we don’t all bring the same gifts, the same stories, or even the same level of faith -- but what matters is that we come. And somehow, through God’s grace, it becomes enough.”

Written reflection from Heidi Johnson
“Saint Clement is my home away from home, a place to teach my family about God’s love, a place where I can pray with my closest friends and with people I have never met, where we support each other in time of sickness, loss & hardship.”
