Anchor Ball is Saint Clement's annual spring gala that celebrates our vibrant community while raising funds for our church, school, and the many ministries our parish serves throughout Chicago.
There are many ways to give financially to the parish. A vitally important outlet for giving is the Sunday Giving Commitment. Parishioners prayerfully consider the gifts that God has given them. In gratitude for such gifts a parishioner gives back to God through a significant gift to the parish on a regular basis. This giving back to God in support of the mission and ministry of the parish is essential to the spiritual life of the giver and the ongoing operations of the parish.
What is the Sunday Giving Commitment?
This gift is most easily accomplished through automatic withdrawal from credit cards or checking account or can be done through weekly envelopes. We encourage parishioners to make a pledge to our Sunday Giving Commitment on an annual basis. This enhances our ability to accurately budget and plan for our many programs and services. Once you make your PLEDGE, you can fulfill the pledge online as a one-time gift or as a recurring donation. We are grateful for your support!
Clement Commits: 10% goes directly to the poor
Father Simpson and Saint Clement’s Pastoral Council approved a plan to increase the annual percentage share of the Clement Commits program from 9.5% of general collections in fiscal year 2013 to 10% in fiscal year 2014. By giving 10% of general collections to needs other than our own, Saint Clement has reached the percentage sharing goal set when the parish adopted the Clement Commits program in 2003.
