The Final Scrutiny Before Baptism

(Order of Christian Initiation of Adults)

(for the previous update, please scroll down and click the left arrow found towards the bottom of the screen)

We celebrate the third Scrutiny at Sunday’s 11:15 a.m. Mass. As our Lenten journey tends closer to holy week and the celebration of Christ’s Life-Giving Passover, we pray in the final Scrutiny over the Elect, that they may joyfully follow the example of Christ, who handed his life over to God in perfect obedience to his Father.

We pray that God will raise them to new life, just as Jesus raised Lazarus, his dear friend. May God watch over all our OCIA members and our Team as we draw close to this life giving spring, the living water that Jesus promised the Samaritan woman.

Registration for our Spring – Fall OCIA will open soon. Thank you for your patience! In response to larger numbers seeking to complete sacraments, we are adding a second section each week. Please email Ed Harasim, OCIA Coordinator, eharasim@clement.org, for further information on the process of joining the Church or completing your sacraments of initiation through Confirmation and/or First Communion.
