OCIA: The Journey into Life with God in Christ

This Palm Sunday we remember how Jesus began a new journey, not simply into Jerusalem, but a paschal journey which would lead through his suffering on the cross toward the glory of the Resurrection.
This holy week, our OCIA members are also on a new journey, a journey of deeper communion with God offered them through the sacraments of the Church. This is not a journey of completion or graduation, but a journey of deepening faith, drawing them into closer communion with the Trinity and God’s family. This is our journey, too. Our Lenten forty days will culminate in renewing our baptismal promises at Easter.
Please continue to pray for our community members who will celebrate the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Please continue to welcome and walk with them on this journey of faith. You can find their names below:
