FAMILY MASS

Sundays at 9:30 a.m., in the Church

Are you a parent of school-age children who have struggled to engage with the Mass? Do you find it hard for your little ones to make it through an entire liturgy?

We are excited to share that our 9:30 a.m. Mass in the Church is especially welcoming for families with children!

This joyful liturgy is beloved by school families and parents with young children. The music is simplified so all ages can participate, and you'll often hear our children’s choir accompanied by piano.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Sundays at the 9:30 a.m. Mass | Ages 3-6

Begins Sunday, September 14, 2025

At Saint Clement, we believe even our youngest members can encounter the love and Word of God in meaningful ways. During the school year at the 9:30 a.m. Mass, children ages 3 to 6 are invited to participate in Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)—a special time just for them to hear and reflect on the Sunday Gospel in a way they can understand.

After the Collect, children are joyfully dismissed from the main assembly to their own sacred space, where trained catechists lead them in song, prayer, and age-appropriate storytelling and reflection on the Gospel of the day. They return to their families during the Offertory to continue celebrating the Eucharist together.

CLOW helps children:

  • Grow in love for Scripture

  • Engage through music, storytelling, and visuals

  • Begin to form their Catholic identity in a warm and welcoming setting

  • Feel they belong in the Mass and parish community

This program is specially designed for children who have not yet received their First Communion. No sign-up is required—just come and join us!

Volunteers Needed! Learn more about the CLOW program and volunteering here.
